First-ever Adoptapalooza at Washington Square Park
Hundreds of pet lovers milled around Washington Square Park Saturday looking to bring home a bundle of furry joy at a pet-adoption event.
At its first ever Adoptapalooza, the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals was offering more than 100 cats and dogs looking for homes as part of its effort to end the practice of euthanizing animals in city shelters.
