Superstorm Sandy

Very sad to see all the devastation that Superstorm Sandy caused to the area. I went back to the Jersey Shore, where I lived for almost 17 years and even though the area is in such bad shape, the people there are so strong and loving, and dedicated-and they will make sure their towns come back. I spent some time in Union Beach, which was the 2nd worse town hit in NJ (Atlantic City was the worst). The people are just amazing. 10 weeks later, I was given access to Mantaloking, and Seaside Heights. To see these once beautiful homes that were oceanfront gone made my heart so heavy, but again-everyone I met---including the local Police, were just so big hearted.
