HEATH LEDGER, 1979-2008

Movie star HEATH LEDGER has been found dead in his New York apartment.
The actor was declared dead by medics at his Broome Street, Soho apartment at
3.30pm according to the New York Police Department.
A police spokesperson reveals Ledger was discovered by his housekeeper, after
he failed to answer the door to a masseuse he had booked to give him a
massage.
Pills were found strewn around his apartment.
The Australian Brokeback Mountain star, 28, was just about to start promoting
the Batman Begins sequel The Dark Knight, in which he plays movie villain The
Joker.
Ledger moved to New York to be with his then-fiancee Michelle Williams. The
couple split last year (07).
The actor leaves behind a two-year-old daughter, Matilda Rose.

Katie Holmes on the David Letterman Show, January 14, 2008

PACKED day at the Letterman Show. Katie Holmes is in town with husband Tom Cruise and baby Suri, promoting her new film "Mad Money" starring Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah. It must have been a slow news day in NYC-there were at least 40 still shooters, a dozen or so video shoters (including the Tom Cruise look a like who shoots video for Access Hollywood) and fans.
Katie ran in, and on the way out signed a few autographs and posed for about 1 minute before running off.
Britney Spears should take a lesson in class from Ms. Holmes. She carries herself like a very mature woman, a loving mother to an adorable daughter.

Kate Nash Performs at Virgin Megastore, January 8, 2008

British singer-songwriter Kate Nash performs during an in store appearance at the Union Square Virgin Megastore. She is only 18 years old and has a great career ahead of her. I never heard of her prior to tonight's in store but she blew me away. Great music..check her out while she is still semi unknown.
