RIP Bill Bird, NYC Photographer

from his Facebook Page

William David Bird, 46, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was raised in North Plainfield and was residing in Hillsborough. Bill’s lifelong passion was photography. He was an exceptional photographer, and used this skill to professionally photograph brides, events, celebrities, and athletes, but got his greatest enjoyment photographing his family. He received degrees from the International Center of Photography and the School of Visual Arts, both located in Manhattan. He also worked for Stavola Construction. He is predeceased by his parents William Donald Bird and Phyllis Theresa Bird. Bill is the beloved husband of Delia Bird and cherished father of Alessandra (Allie) Phyllis Bird, 8, and William Gregory Bird, 6. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Bill had the kindest heart and sweetest disposition and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Bill will be missed. He was always smiling, always kind.

2 concerts 1 morning: Zac Brown on TODAY, Greyson Chance on FOX AND FRIENDS

I have to admit, I thought Greyson Chance was good. I have read reports that he was worse than Justin Bieber (which to me can't be possible!) but his songs were catchy.

Nicki Minaj live on Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series-WARNING-some images not suitable for children

Nicki Minaj put on an amazing performance at GMA's Summer Concert Series but suffered a "wardrobe malfunction" live on National TV. Let's hope they have a delay so the children at home didn't see!
It was so great to see my dear college friend Donna Marino with her daughter Lauren and niece Marissa-(they flew in from Indiana)...even better was spotting them in the crowd (well, her camera in the air to show me where they were).
Thanks to Alison for the VIP tickets so Lauren could have a late birthday gift, celebrating with Nicki.
